Strolling from one side to the other of Florence city center, we will get familiar with the very mixed fortunes of one of its most famous families: the Medici. We will spend two hours among gossip and truth, talking about the well known as well as the unrecognized members of the family. From Santissima Annunziata Square to the Pitti Palace there will be no time to get bored! We will pass by the Palazzo Medici, the family’s first lordly residence. We will stop in front of the church of San Lorenzo, built according to the family’s taste and sense of scale. We will then walk to the Duomo, where we shall discover the family’s involvement in the construction of what is still today considered a miracle of Renaissance architecture: the cupola designed by Brunelleschi. From here we will move towards the heart of the political power of the city, the Palazzo Vecchio and, after crossing the oldest bridge in Florence, we will reach the fulcrum of the Medici’s ambition: Palazzo Pitti.

In the museum we let ourselves be carried away by the Renaissance music of the compositions of Lorenzo the Magnificent and by the beautiful and unfortunate Isabella de 'Medici, who was murdered by her husband out of jealousy. Cosimo The Third Medici, the penultimate of the Dynasty, created Chianti as an important wine region, with the first disciplinary of the Chianti League. We will end this tour in the Medici Dynasty with a Chianti wine tasting!

Raffaello Sanzio from Urbino contributed to beautify the city of Florence during his stay in our city from 1504 to 1508. He died at the age of 37 in 1520. On the occasion of the anniversary of his death we have created a special tour about this undiscussed painter. The Palatine Gallery , Palazzo Pitti, houses the best Raphael paintings in Florence, perhaps even a portrait of the beautiful Fornarina in the sweet face of the Madonna della Seggiola (Vergin Mary of the Chair). You will see the Palace where Raphael met Leonardo’s Monna Lisa in Florence and got totally impressed. Raphael was also an original architect of smart taste: Raphael’s style palaces in Florence are very different from the Florentine Renaissance-style buildings. Raffaello was handsome, kind and intelligent, everybody loved him: your guide will tell you the story of Raphael's short but intense life, full of love, women and favours by his patrons!

Florence is full of esoteric symbols, magic signs that come from the past centuries from alchemy and Kabbalah. The facade of Santa Croce reveals its symbols and necromancy stories and the Baptistery - its palindrome. We will see Pazzino dei Pazzi and the stones from the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, which on Easter day light up the traditional Explosion of the Cart in Florence. We will also meet Friar Girolamo Savonarola, the strictly religious Dominican hanged and burnt at the stake. And again stories of punishment, Templars and Cathars in Florence and children rejected because they were said to be born malformed because of the intervention of the evil one! To bring us luck, we will try to count the mysterious bees… at least try to count them, as they are uncountable!
