Nimes, Uzes & Pont du Gard Small Group Half-Day Tour from Avignon

We had a wonderful tour visiting Nimes, Uzès and Pont du Gard. Gordana was a wonderful guide. She is very knowledgable about the area and gave us lots of information about the history of each place we visited. We loved our stroll through Uzès town (wished we had more time there) and she was also kind to take a slight detour to show the origin of the stream for the Pont du Gard. We also wished we had more time to enjoy Pont du Gard. The one major PLUS point of taking this tour is that you get to pay reduced fees (5€ instead of 10€) at Pont du Gard. Gordana was also very kind to drop us at Orange as we had planned spending rest of the day there. We loved this tour and would recommend it to someone who would like to do a quick short tour of the areas near by.

Our tour guide Gordana was lovely and full of knowledge. We had a wonderful day learning about Provence and Gard history. The car was comfortable. Gordana went out of her way to accomodate our needs and make our trip as enjoyable as possible. This is a wonderful half-day trip from Avignon with adequate time to see the sites and towns. We would highly recommend this day trip. Good value for money as well!

Gordana was an extremely knowledgeable, articulate and accommodating guide. The tour was well paced and we were able to see many highlights of the region without feeling rushed or that we were skipping anything. This tour is highly recommended, especially if you have a limited amount of time to spend in Provence.

Guillaume was our guide and driver and was extremely knowledgeable about French history and kept us informed and amused throughout the trip. Good amount of times at the Pont du Gard, but could have done with more time in Nimes to see more of the arena. Uzes was also interesting and gave us taste of the area.

Gordano was an excellent and friendly guide who provided lots of great information. She gave us time for pictures, and made special stops to allow us to do so. Six of us in her comfortable van, water bottles provided which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend this tour with Gordano (sp?).

Our guide, Guillaume, was entertaining, insightful and informative. Wish we could have gone into the Arena in Nimes though.

This tour was very good for seeing a little of Nimes, Uzes and the Pont du Gard and was the only way we could have done it in the time.. We would have liked more time to explore Nimes ideally. The minivan was very clean and comfortable and the guide extremely knowledgeable - it was like a university education in the area's history! Guillaime was very personable and happy to answer all sorts of questions. We enjoyed the morning and would recommend the tour.

Gordana (sp??) was lovely! Very upbeat, cheerful with incredible knowledge of the area. She was very professional and did a great job of balancing the group. I would highly recommend this tour as it is a bit off the beaten path but some amazing sites that are not overcrowded during the high season.

We are extremely satisfied with the 5 hour tour out of Avignon as it far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Ann, was extremely knowledgeable about the region and very experienced as a guide. Ann whet out of her way to make sure that we had the best vantage point for pictures unlike many of the other tours at the same attractions. One of the best tour companies and guides we have ever used.

Our driver /guide was a great source of information. We expected to see the Roman sites but she also pointed out many other places of interest en route. The car we travelled in was clean and comfortable. There were only 3 of us on the trip and we never felt rushed. We did have to pay an extra 5 euros to get into Pont du Gard. I would recommend the firm and the tour.
