Head to the Banff Gondola any time during its normal hours of operation to begin your ride. Climb inside a comfortable, modern, 4-person gondola cabin for the trip to the top of Sulphur Mountain. As your cabin ascends high above this mountain paradise, admire bird’s eye views of Banff’s alpine scenery and meandering rivers, arriving at the summit of Sulphur Mountain.

While on top, feel free to explore the boardwalk leading to Sanson’s Peak, a national historic site, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the view. After your allotted time at the top, simply grab your assigned gondola back down to the base of the mountain.

With new restaurants, interactive interpretive exhibits, a multi-sensory theatre and a breathtaking 360-degree rooftop observation deck, the new Banff Gondola summit heightens every sense.

The staffs are friendly even trip alone. It takes 15 mits to run the observatory place. There is a road to reach the top that take 10mits. It is such a great place ever

The views are amazing, photos don't do it justice! Must make the easy climb (walk) to the peak. Additionally the restaurant was very nice and delicious - exceeded our expectations!

I had planned a wonderful weekend getaway with my kiddos....and it also happened to be the weekend Santa was visiting. My children received ornaments and cookies to decorate and a special visit with Santa. Memories made and a very happy momma. Thank you ❤

The Banff gondola is a must-see when in Banff. It was absolutely gorgeous, we had a wonderful time going up and seeing the views of the mountain.

It is a must if you go Banff. Do not get discouraged if it rains, cloudy... because it changes every few minutes. Highly recommended to dress warm.
