Skip 2 Lines: Barcelona city tour, small-group, with pickup at hotels and port

Fantastic tour! Our guide Teya (?) was knowledgeable and made sure we saw everything that was important to us. We loved it!

The guide Vanessa was very good and friendly and did not seem rushed. Got a taste of a lot - Montjuic, Park Guell, Sagrada Familia. This tour does not stop at Casa Mila or Casa Batllo but you pass them while in the vehicle.

Let me immediately say that this tour is a rip-off! a 4 hour tour was rushed of in 3hours 15 minutes to get other passengers to the airport on time. it felt like two tours had been combined. We battled to keep up with the tour guide and lost her from time to time. The Barcelona city tour was hardly more than a drive through Barcelona. in addition, we were asked to pay again for our entrance tickes to the Sagrada after we, according to my records, had already paid for the tickets when we had booked the tour. The interesting fact is this, we were sent our tickets to the Sagrada in advance. And the e-mail clearly stated that the tickets had been paid for. why would we be sent our tickets if they had not been paid for. Viator just does not operate in that way. We were forced to pay the tourguide again, but did so under protest.

Our guide, Josep, was very knowledgeable and provided detailed information on various points of interest.

We signed up for a small group tour and found ourselves on a large bus. We did not stop at any of the stops we signed up for (drove swiftly by) complained to our tour guide that maybe we were on the wrong tour. Said no that we were on the right tour and to take our issues up with the company. Which we have not as yet. She Informed our group of the sights and land marks after we passed them etc. Before entering the city of Barcelona she asked us to perhaps continue on our own and went on without us. ( 2 senior ladies) which we did. Also noticing several others in our group also deciding to go it alone, being not very please with this guide. We did finally hook up with another couple who decided to continue on their own and got to see the beautiful Sagrada Familia (Gaudi’s most famous building) a must see. Were able to use our skip the line pass with out our guide and got back to the ship with out any problem. Sorry to say Viator was truly a disappointment on this one and would suggest doing this one on your own. A taxi cab would have surly done better, and would have cost much less.

This excursion was informative and I enjoyed the destinations. I was disappointed at the pace we were required to move. Almost lost our guide at a few places. She was friendly, but was obviously hurried. I also think a planned, convenient toilet stop should be planned in this tour. We had to "dash into" a restroom and several of us were desperate by the time we got there.

We really enjoyed this excursion. It was so convenient being picked up at the cruise port and then being dropped off at our hotel. I would have loved more time at the Sagrada Familia.

Great tour, gives you great overview of the key points of city and more time at several of the best attractions in town. Guide was fantastic and transportation was seamless. Exactly as described.

We enjoyed our tour very much! Our tour guide gave very good information and details and we learned a lot. Started at 9am - 1pm where they dropped us off at Sagrada Familia. This tour made us appreciate Barcelona so much. It was raining hard that day but that didn't stop her from going out of her way to make sure we are all comfortable and gave enough attention to all of us. She made sure our group was intact as well when some strayed away. She was just a lovely and excellent person. We appreciate the skip the lines tickets at the Sagrada Familia because the line looped around the block especially on a rainy day. Make sure to go straight to any of the Sagrada Familia guards or those minding the lines/queues so they can let you in quickly. It pays to ask and show your tickets. I think I saw some of our group members line up without asking and that's too bad. Anyway, we also liked that we were a smaller tour group. Thank you very much!
