From the central station turn left and then right into Via dell'Indipendenza. After an 8- minute walk you'll find us on your left, right after I Portici Hotel. From the main square go down via dell'Indipendenza and after a 15-minute walk you'll find us on your right, right before I Portici Hotel.

Giuseppe a great guide and we learnt a lot about the history and present day Bologna. Substantial bikes which can be ridden safely around the City. Weekends have less traffic but more footfall as pedestrianised areas increased. Tour during Covid times but support staff sanitised bike for our use. Felt safe.

You cover a lot of ground in Bologna because you are on a bike. There are a couple of breaks during the ride where you'll have a chance to explore. The guide knew her history of Bologna. They provide radio and headset so you can hear the guide while on the bike. The bikes are easy to ride and it is a relatively flat bike ride. I definitely recommend as something different than a walking tour.

We did this bike tour at the very start of a short holiday in the centre of Bologna. It's a great way to quickly spot the key attractions and to generally get a feel for the layout of the city.
