Grazia was so welcoming and made us all feel comfortable. She taught us at our own speed and gave guidance along the way. The food was so delicious! She was also flexible as we arrived a bit late being stuck in traffic. Her place is a bit outside the main city center and the entrance is not obvious, but Grazia was very communicative via WhatsApp and came down to meet us at the street. Absolutely would recommend.

Grazia was a beautiful hostess and teacher. She delights in others making memories. She puts her heart into her cooking and her guests. I learned immediately from her ways that will make me a more effective cook by attending to the small details. My mother and I plan to buy pasta machines as soon as we get home. The recipes she chose to teach us was incredible, tortellini and pasta bolognese. I'm sure it was her special family recipes (which she shares) and the freshness of the homemade pasta. This was truly the highlight of our trip. To be invited into someone's home is a special gift. Thank you Grazia.

My partner and I had an amazing evening cooking and eating with Grazia. It was an honour to enjoy a home cooked meal and share stories of culture, language and tradition with such a sweet person. It's rare to have such an honest and real experience while traveling abroad and I couldn't recommend her class highly enough!

I had the best time learning how to make pasta with Grazia. She taught us how to make two types - a stuffed tortelli and a tagliatelle - and while we worked we got to hear stories about her life, the history and culture of Bologna, + cooking tricks and tips.
Post-pasta making we sat down to share a beautiful lunch together (Grazia provided the most amazing wine and dessert to complement).
Overall, the entire experience was warm and joyous and gave me a great memory in addition to firsthand knowledge of how to make pasta. Super highly recommend (especially if you're traveling solo like I was).

Grazia was very welcoming to her house, and upon arrival she offered us some coffee. She thoroughly explained how Bologna became to be known as Italy's food center and the history of pasta in Italy.
She guided us through making the pasta from scratch, making it easy to mix, roll, and shape the pasta.
However, I do wish she demonstrated more during each step of the process, especially when shaping the tortellini. It would also been valuable if she had us help her cook the pasta and the sauce.
Nonetheless, the class was very informative and enjoyable, and the pasta and dessert tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to learn the traditional way of making pasta.

We absolutely loved our time with Grazia. She is a great teacher who clearly loves sharing her craft! We felt so welcomed and at home that we didn’t feel like strangers at all. She is kind, patient, and has a great sense of humor! The meal we prepared with Grazia was the best we had in all of Italy (seriously!) and the dessert she served was out of this world. We couldn’t stop thinking about the pasta and bolognese sauce, so we made our own batch just days after returning home to Maryland. Bologna is a special city, and if you visit, you must make time to cook with Grazia! Gracie mille Grazia!
