Start with pickup at your hotel, then begin the trip to the Tulum Archeological Site, among the most dramatic ancient cities on the Yucatan Peninsula, with stone fortifications overlooking a white sand beach. Learn about the history and culture of the Mayan people, with free time to photograph the ruins before leaving the site.

Continue to the Mexican Caribbean in an air-conditioned vehicle. Get fitted with snorkeling gear, and slip into the water to swim over the coral reef (the fee for Conservation of the Marine Fauna is not included in this tour, and must be paid during the tour).

The afternoon is all about the natural world: follow your guide into a cave that’s bristling with stalagmites and stalactites, then take a walk through the jungle, listening to a forest chorus of tropical birds and animals. Visit the nearby Cenote Caracol to cool off with a swim in the fresh, limestone-filtered water.

This tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

Super great tour with a great guide. The Snorkel was pretty intense with the coral very close to the surface. The Cenote was the highlight of the day for sure! Ruins were interesting, and it felt like just the right amount of time doing each activity. It was a lot of driving but well worth it.

The trip breaks down as such: The Mayan ruins were great for those really interested in history. We found ourselves too busy staring at all the beautiful scenery to pay attention to the knowledgeable guide. Next was snorkeling in the lagoon. Definitely a fan favorite but we wished it was longer. We spent 30-40 minutes in the water and saw a plethora of aquatic species. This experience actually prompted us to book a separate snorkeling experience because we enjoyed it so much! My personal favorite the underground cenote caves. These freshwater sources are located deep in the jungle and composed entirely of rainwater. The stalagmites are formed over thousands of years and truly shine in the light. Only complaint is the “stop” we made just outside the caves in the dense jungle where massive mosquitoes bit me 3 times. But once I made it to the cenote my bites magically healed. Truly exquisite. TL;dr: I was bored at the first, then enchanted by the second, healed by the third. Jorge (George) the guide was energetic and passionate the entire time, but his music choices could be better lol.

This was by far thee best tour we experienced! The guide Ruben was so helpful and had so much personality. Arturo our driver was so knowledgeable about all the history and facts. Our photographer Ruben took amazing candid photos that made the experience priceless!! The lunch served was authentic and taste amazing! We were able to shop and see the Mayan natives, snorkel in the lagoon, and dive in the Cenotes! You don’t want to miss this excursion!! By far our absolute favorite! Our group was like a family by the time we departed. Looooooooved it! And they implemented safety regulations with Covid, although it did not take away from the experience it added additional sense of safety.
