Hopper Bus tour not as advertised.

Because the tour didnot go to the Jameson experience as advertised, we left the bus and tried to arrange transport on our own. We were unsuccessful so could not use the tickets we had purchased. We were very disappointed as this would be one of the highlights of our tours. We would like a credit to our credit card account for both tours. Cork City Sightseeing (Hopper Bus) (Paddy wagon tours) Ticket #722193488, confirmation # 112208170( 2 tickets total $56.66). Jameson Experience in County Cork Ticket#722187510, Itinerary # 1122089106 (2 tickets total $40.80)
Didn't go
, May 2019
When we got off the bus, we went to the taxi stand only to be told all in that row had been hired. We went across the street and one taxi driver quoted us 40 PS one way and another 48 PS one way. I missed seeing the train which would have been the way to go and then we'd had to pay a taxi to go to the Hopper stop and back to the train....Not worth the trouble. Found a tour on our own and it was excellent.
Pathetic experience
, Jul 2018
I planned on starting the excursion at the second start time,1130, but a taxi driver sent me over the wrong bridge. By the time I found the tour office, it was too late for that tour. So, the next time for the excursion was at 1:45, I believe. The woman in the office said it was too late to start the tour at that time, that I should have started it at 0930. Ii told her that the information I received did not say I had to start at the earliest time. It simply said something to the effect that the earlier you start, the better. It did not say if you go later, you will be told that you are too late, as was the case for me. Finally, after telling her that I had come from the U.S. and that it was my birthday (and a significant one, too), she called the driver, and after a long and spirited conversation, he apparently agreed to take me to one site. One site. Needless to say this was a bust for me and when the driver showed up (late) he stank to high heaven of sweat. So, nothing pleasant about this organization or this driver. Another driver showed up at the one site I was allowed to see about an hour before the stinky driver was to show up and so I asked where he was headed, but he said I had to wait for the stinky driver. I have never heard of this type of hop-on-hop-off system. Isn't that the point? You are done with one site and ready to go to another and so you take the next bus, right? If you can't see all of the sites after 1130, then those should be the only tour times--0930 and 1130. What's the point in having two or three other times listed if you cannot start your tour at those times???
This tour was advertised as a Hopper...

This tour was advertised as a Hopper Bus Hop on/Hop off tour. My instructions said where to meet the bus and said that the bus would leave from this location approximately every 2 hours at 0930, 1130, 1345, 1545, and 1745. We were coming from a cruise ship so we did not make it for the 0930 bus. We showed up at the tour office at 1030 to take the 1130 bus and were told that the bus had left and we had missed the tour. There was no other buses coming for the rest of the day. Thankfully, the lady at the tour office provided us with an alternative option, otherwise we would have missed everything in Cork and lost all our money because of poor instructions.
