Wild Buggy Eco Adventure from Punta Cana

We are a very easy going group and I wanted to like this tour so much. Part of the charm of the tour seemed to be the buggies that had seen much better days. I was there with 8 "kids" 15-22 and they all agreed, this was not going to be on our return visit list. Pros: Our guides were fantastic. They did everything they could to try and make the buggies run. Cons: There were 12 of us. Of the 6 Buggies our group had, 3 broke down. We spent the majority of our time sitting on the trails trying to get these running. A lot of time was spent switching the batteries around, one of the buggies that died had fluid spewing out of the back of the engine and the acceleration pedal was stuck (although my husband found that part kind of fun) , one had a dead battery and to be started by either lighting it with a lighter or touching 2 wires together, and one of them had a busted axle and then it overheated and would not run. We kept leaving buggies on the roadside and eventually our group had 3 buggies and some of our group rode on 4 wheelers that the staff had been riding to get back to the starting point. I understand the occasional issue but that was basically our entire trip. I will be contacting Viator to request at least a partial refund as well.

The buggy speeds were really slow. Some of the machines had troubles. We were constantly harassed to buy things (or even just give money to kids). The beach was the worst. You couldn’t put your stuff down or even walk 2 steps without someone in your face demanding money.

Our guy Charlie made it very accommodating and did a really great job and is an excellent experience

We weren't really expecting too much from this excursion when we booked it but it exceeded our expectations. We had a lot of fun and the tour guides were great.

Our guide David was amazing along with his crew , we had the best time !! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!! We highly recommend this excursion!!!

Amazing tour and great customer service, the guides were great and we paid for the photographs. The photographer followed us around and got some amazing shots.. would recommend this to anyone going to punta Cana

Was a wonderfully guided trip for all ages! Definitely the highlight of our Punta Cana trip! So excited that we got to have this unique experience!

The tour is one of the worst I have done. Each stop that the tour takes is an opportunity to pressure to buy stuff or ask you for money. Keep in mind that all stops are open to the general public... If you are really interested in these attraction go on your own. Also, the buggy experience is horrible! The buggies are old and not maintained. Given that it is a buggy tour, you would think you spend most of your time driving.... But you don't. About one third or less of the time you spend behind the wheel. The time you are behind the wheel, you are breathing in the buggys fumes and dirt.

We enjoyed the Buggy Adventure and our tour guide Will was great and very personable! I rated them average because: 1) they charged for glasses/scarves, but we were never told that we needed these things, 2) the buggy we were in needed a wheel alignment and kept dying on us, but they didn't trade it for another one?? 3) all the stops included things to buy! Overall, take money with you on this excursion because you'll need it, but it was worth it.

Staff was great and friendly . Excursion was very fun and exciting . Got dirty and muddy and loved the water. Will do it again .
