We did the cocktails at sunset. We arrived to a lovely champagne and amazing canapes. Unfortunately our view wasn't the best due to a sand storm, luckily we already got a view of the city from the Frame.

Best option to view highest floor available at the Burj Khalifa

This was the only option I found available to get to the 154th floor and I am so glad I took that opportunity! You go with a small group and have a 2 hour visitation window..obviously the sunset time was the one I wanted. The 154th floor is not overly spacious but well appointed with comfortable seating available..never felt crowded. Could have one glass of wine included. AWESOME view. Nice to be able to move between the 3 floors by stairs. Then allowed to go to 148th floor or 125th floor after..no rushing..allow at least a 2 hour visit.

It was amazing!!!!! The elevator ride to the top was about a minute and it was so fast I didn’t have time to get anxiety. At the top we were served champagne and appetizers. Even though I don’t like heights I am so glad we did this. It was a highlight in Dubai and I would highly recommend this tour for an unforgettable experience.

Stairway to heaven first stop

In the huge Dubai Mall we followed the signs to arrive at the ticket office of the Burj Khalifa. At the entrance a friendly official leaded us out of the line attached a sign VIP on our lapels and guided us to a small group and that group was guided to a technical marvel a supersonic elevator that in a very short time brought us to the 120th floor. Normally you expect to feel the launching as a strange feeling in the stomach and the deceleration as well but this elevator does avoid all these feelings. Short walk to another elevator and up to the 154th floor where champaign and snacks awaited us. All the positive remarks about the view to all sides and the sunset where insufficient to describe the sensation of the panorama and the sunset behind the Palm Island. Sitting in the loungechairs to observe the illumination of the buildings of the city of Dubai. We were so satisfied by this experience that we didn’t take the opportunity to visit the 120th floor. Very glad to enjoy this great spectacle.

Fantastic At the Top Visit

Excellent experience, ushered past long lines of people waiting, well worth the added expense for the speed and access to the luxurious 154/153rd floor lounges and observation deck. We were advised by our hotel concierge to have our taxi driver take us to the “At the Top” entrance located in the Burj Khalifa parking garage lower level—apparently the taxi drivers know it—and we were in the exactly correct place to be quickly escorted along. It’s pricey but definitely spares you a huge wait. The views and photos we took from there were spectacular. 5:30pm entry was perfect for daylight and after sunset views of all the twinkling lights of Dubai (this was in February). Do arrive 1/2 hour early. The elevator up takes a minute but the labyrinthine walk to get to the series of elevators involved takes time.

Highly recommend paying the extra money for this experience. You get one glass of champagne and a couple hors d’oeuvres but the view and lesser crowd are worth it.

Whilst spending two days in Dubai, before boarding a cruise ship, we booked to experience "Tea in the Clouds" - afternoon tea on the 154th floor of the Burj Khalifa. Myself and my husband, along with two other couples arrived on the day, were "fast tracked" through all of the waiting queue and whisked to the top of the tower - 77secs to the top! There we spent two hours moving between the 152nd and 154th floors completely enthralled by the magnificent building and decor, and the fantastic panoramic views. There were no crowds, only around 20-25 people at a time, so we had plenty of time to view, take photographs and experience the wonder of the scene before us, even taking the opportunity to go outside onto the open air viewing platform accompanied by a guide. We then moved onto the 154th floor to a comfortable area where we had "afternoon tea" - which was excellent, even finishing it off with a glass of bubbly!! We came back down to earth after two hours, completely overwhelmed and wanting to return as soon as possible!

Spectacular tour, but PAY ATTENTION ON WHERE TO CHECK IN!!

The Burj Khalifa is spectacular. We felt that the trip up to the 154th floor was worth every penny. The lounge which occupies floors 152-154 is beautiful. We were able to find an alcove facing the city lights and enjoy drinks for a couple of hours. Service was great. The ONLY thing that's crucial to mention is WHERE TO GO! I/we did not feel that this was at all clear. We spent about an hour walking around the property trying to figure out where to go. The check in point is IN THE DUBAI MALL, level "LG". Show up at 5:00 for a 5:30 start as it was very crowded.
