Departure Time

2:30 PM
Begin your experience with a pickup from your central Dubai hotel. Settle inside your air-conditioned minivan and relax as travel into the desert.

Meet your camel convoy and enjoy a leisurely ride on a camel. Enjoy the views as your camel lumbers across the sands: you soon understand how these hardy herbivores provide ideal transport for nomadic Bedouins.

Then, arrive at a Bedouin-style camp inside a desert retreat owned by the UAE royal family. The compound stands amid rolling dunes and is illuminated by flame torches, giving it a truly Arabian feel.

As the sun sets, watch a falconry demonstration. Admire the speed and elegance of the falcons as they answer their handlers’ commands and swoop for lures.

Stroll into the dunes for photos of the sunset and enjoy a range of traditional desert activities inside a rustic-style Arabian tent. Sip Arabic coffee, get a henna tattoo, and learn to make Arabic breads during a step-by-step demonstration.

Next, settle at a low Bedouin table for a 4-course feast of typical Emirati dishes with sodas and mineral water. See the Itinerary for a sample menu.

Following dinner, choose to smoke a shisha (Arabic water pipe) and watch a display of traditional dancing and music under the stars.

Return to Dubai in your minivan and end your experience with a hotel drop-off.

Five Star Experience!
, Dec 2021
The reviews for this excursion were excellent and it did not disappoint. This is a top notch experience. Our guide Houston was great. The camel ride was a wonderful way to experience the quiet majesty of the desert. The falconry and other local activities were interesting and the dinner in the camp was delicious. Our family enjoyed this excursion immensely.

Be careful with valuables.

Be careful of staff at desert camp. Had a pair of expensive sunglasses go missing. Keep an eye on your belongings. Tour was very nice otherwise. Unfortunately this ruined experience.

Hi Amy, At Platinum Heritage, we value our guests and provide trustworthy service. And we're very sorry that this loss of trust ruined your experience with us. Upon receiving your email, we reported this to our Operations Team and have searched our camp and vehicles. After the efforts, unfortunately, no sunglasses were found. We know it has been a few days since you had the tour, but should anything turn up, you will be informed immediately. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thank you.
Authentic Bedouins.

Had more of everything than similar Safaris. Our transfer had a flat tire so they upgraded us to private transfer at no extra charge. They give you presents and you get to try camel stew. DON'T eat food before going or you will regret it. Everything done in the way the Bedouins did back in the day. Don't forget to try their purple many berries juice. Delicious. Staff super helpful and courteous.

The FAVORITE highlight of our trip !! The guides were prompt picking us up at our hotel and everything was in perfect order !! We rode the camels for a complete hour around the desert and camels were well cared for !! Loved the authentic meal they served us for dinner and entertainment !! The falcon show was amazing as well as the star gazing !! Overall I would give it more stars if it was available !! Great job !!!

Wow! What an incredible experience we will remember for the rest of our life. Oscar was the most fabulous tour guide! He had wonderful energy and was so passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Dubai. As if riding camels was not enough, we had many unexpected surprises along the way. There were photographers, sheesha, dances, SO MUCH FOOD, jeep rides, free scarf/water bottle/bag, on royal property, etc…. Don’t hesitate! I held off with the higher price at first but would gladly pay $400 per person after all we experienced. This certainly made our trip one that we will never forget!

Excellent camel safari. Ask for Hajaj as your guide. He is an asset to the company.

This camel safari was the best experience of my life. Hajaj was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor. You should ask for him. We were promised 45 minutes on the camels and we rode for the entire time. Peaceful, real desert, authentic. The food was delicious. All of the activities were fabulous (falcon show, traditional demos, music and star gazing. Felt like we were actually living in the past. Great history. Again, Hajaj was a fantastic guide.
Wonderful trip.

Loved our tour guide sultan. The camel ride was for a full hour. Definitely worth the money and the fantastic gentleman walking with us on the camels offered several times to take photos and video which were great. The food was plentiful, just make sure to move early when it comes time for the dinner shows to make sure you get a seat. Camels were the best part and an awesome experience
