Wonderful tour. It is self guided; however, staff are always available to help guide you along the way. It’s about 7 floors, food is amazing on level 5. Def try the burger! Delicious.

The visit starts with the expected security check upon entry. The queue was quite lengthy, which defeated the object of the Skip The Queue ticket. Initially, no-one was carrying out the check, however when they returned to the desk, they simply let everyone through unchecked. The admission process was the fairly rapid. This is a self guided visit, so go with the flow. Lots of interesting exhibits of the history of Guinness brewing in Dublin with occasional input at some exhibits by a guide. The Guinness sampling is a miniture glass more of a shot glass. The free pint of Guinness, in the Galaxy Bar is an absolute 'bun fight' with very poor bar service and total lack of space due to the large number of guests. Spectacular views, is probably the only bonus, as the Guinness tastes nothing like that in Dublin's many bars. Certainly not good value for money.

We had one free day in Dublin and it was a no brained this had to be one of the things we did, absolutely worth it. We got there right when they opened at 9:30, doing the self-guided tour. It’s easy to lose track of time there’s a lot to see, there’s a sampling tasting and then depending on the ticket bought, might also include a Pint on the top floor bar with a great view of Dublin and the surrounding areas.
