Amazing experience!
, Jan 2022
What a day! We had an amazing time! Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni are all such unique and beautiful towns. The winery at the end near San Gimignano was phenomenal too (shipped a ton of the wine back to the states) - The wine tasting and pairing really topped it all off. Don’t miss this tour.
Such an amazing tour.

This was such an amazing tour offered by viator. This was the 2nd time I had taken this tour, So I opted to take the self guided tour which allowed me to me to wander at my leisure. If you've never taken this door before I highly recommend taking the guided tour so that you could hear all of the great history.

Getting to see several old towns in one day. Very much enjoyed meeting others during the lunch and wine tasting. Very nice day.

Day trip
, Nov 2021
On the whole, the day was pretty good. A few things though. Maybe wine tasting should not be right after a full lunch. Also, going to San Gimignano after dark made it difficult to meet back at the bus. I think the tour guide (Elizabeth) who was great, should have had us meet back at the city gate instead of the bus. Also, it was first mentioned 6:30 to leave then 6:00pm. A little confusing. A couple was late and I think instead of just calling the agency and then saying we were going to leave them, she could have walked back to the city gate. Thankfully she had a change of heart or the bus driver did and we drove back to the city gate where the couple was found.
Good tour. Too many people and languages
, Nov 2021
I understand we are still in covid and times are strange but our tour guide had four languages to translate. The guide, to properly share the information to everyone had to speak constantly while we were on the bus. I kept thinking what are we not being told because she has so much translating to do. Then once we got to Siena, our new tour guide had both English and French speakers. So, half our tour was standing around while the info was spoken in French. Again, what was cut out of the tour due to all the translation? Cities and winery were beautiful but at the least we should have had 4 different tour guides in Siena. Bus was hot, had to ask 3 times to cool the bus. My first viator of probably 20 that I wasn’t in love with.

I would not recommend...

I would not recommend doing the added Siena guide and lunch option. The Siena tour lasted maybe 20 minutes and she dropped us off at the church right as a Mass service was starting so we couldn't visit due to the timing of the lunch. Then the lunch was very average food in a restaurant that was frankly just dirty. The one server for 50 people was absolutely amazing though! The tour guides with the bus tour company were very friendly and I was blown away by them conducting the tour in four different languages. However, I wish we knew that it would be conducted in four different languages as it was a bit overwhelming to hear everything four different times.

A must to do from Florence
, Sep 2021
This was a great day trip to do from Florence to see more of the Tuscan countryside and immerse yourself into its beauty and history. Jacopo and Renada were fantastic guides and we loved every aspect of the tour (especially the wine tasting!)

Good communication, fun day trip

We're glad we booked this daytrip outside Florence as it's become one of the highlights of our trip!!!! We originally booked for the tour including Monteriggioni but due to guest numbers, we agreed to do the tour that included Pisa instead. Lots of free time to take pictures, eat, get espresso, and gelato. Our guide throughout the trip Frankie was friendly, funny, and shared information about Tuscany during the bus ride. But he also gave us time to nap which was very convenient and considerate - the whole trip is really a full day! Shout out to our driver Raul too who's a super cool rockstar! Highly recommend this trip - San Gimignano was beautiful! Get the gelato from Dondoli it's so, so good! Lunch was also amazing, simple but delicious, including three wines. The views overlooked vineyards and wineries so it doesn't disappoint!!!
