The whole tour was good but the best part was seeing Michaelangelo’s David. Too bad the tour guide couldn’t continue with us.

Fabulous history lesson on Florence!

Angelo was our guide and was absolutely fantastic! This is a walking tour through Florence to lean about the history of the city, who ruled it and the figures who impacted Florence and Italy. We learned so much about the Medici family, Dante and of course Michelangelo. The tour ended with tickets to see the David. After the tour, Angelo shared some great restaurants with us that we tried and were very happy with! Would definitely recommend taking the tour and learning some Florence history!

Angelo was fantastic! This was probably the best walking tour and guide I have ever attended. He was so knowledgeable but in a easy to understand way. He added facts with stories that I will remember. Again, he was outstanding!

Must-see statue of David!

Informative and interesting tour. David is a must-see! I would have liked more time in the Accademia museum, but we had another tour scheduled that afternoon and had to cut our time at Accademia short. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour.

Skip-the-Tour and explore on your own

This tour begins at the Uffezi gallery, about a 25 min walk from where the Gallery Accademia is located. I arrived early, had trouble finding the guide - there were several in the area and my group was nowhere to be found. I messaged the tour guide company - no response. The time to leave came and went. I messaged the tour company again asking for a refund, but again, no luck there. In the end I ended up buying tickets to both the Uffezi Gallery and the Gallery Accademia just by lining up and wandered around Florence on my own. It was a lot cheaper than purchasing a tour and honestly a lot more enjoyable since I could take my time with both galleries.

I’ve had better. Listen to a recording by Rick Steve and do it solo. Don’t pay for this

The walking tour was subpar. I have had way better experiences with this company. One thing I really didn’t like was when we stopped in front of a vendor with local street food called Lampredotto. The tour guide lead with a disgusted kind of put off intro into the food right in front of the vendor. The other tourist followed. I get bad for the vendor as people made faces at his food, and personally In my culture we eat this type of food so I also felt insulted. I think that put me off in the tour a lot. You are better off listening to a recording of a walking tour with Rick Steves. He gives more details in regards to the art and culture. Don’t waste your money.

Thumbs up for Annette!

Michelangelo's "David" was the highlight. Annette's filling in the background information about the sculptor and his era definitely enhanced the experience. Her anecdotes, knowledge, and sense of humour brought each place we visited to life.

Good Choice for a Morning Walk

Costanza, our guide, truly loves her city of Florence, and was able to give us great history and stories. The walk was very comfortable, not a race, and that was appreciated. I would only have liked a few more entries into the sights, such as the Basilica or another museum, to make it a three hour tour instead of two. But Costanza gets 5 stars!

The walking tour was amazing. Mel, our guide, was very knowledgeable and very new ce! We would definitely use the same vendor in the future.
