Meet your guide outside of the Uffizi Gallery, bypassing the long lines of the main entrance with your priority access ticket.

Inside, discover an impressive collection of over 1,500 works of art. Though the art spans from ancient Greece to the 18th century, the museum’s true gems are from the Renaissance era. Your guide will place focus on the Renaissance rooms, which house masterpieces from da Vinci, Botticelli, Michelangelo, and more.

Continue on with your guide to witness works by Rafael, as well as Michelangelo’s 'Doni Tondo' and da Vinci’s famous 'Annunciation.' Hear the history behind the artists and their great works, as well as the stories of the patrons who made the Uffizi the incredible museum it is today.

Gallerie Degli Uffizi
One of the world’s oldest art museums, the Uffizi was built by architect Giorgio Vasari in the 16th century to house government offices. It was only later that the building was used to showcase art collected by Florence’s ruling Medici family, and not until 1769 that it was turned into a public museum. The repository of more 1,500 works dating from Greek times to the 18th century, the core of the Uffizi is its unmissable collection of Renaissance art. Your tour concentrates on these, as your guide leads you around the highlights of the Renaissance rooms, home to great works by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and others. Enter the spectacular Botticelli Room and wonder at his The Birth of Venus and Primavera as your guide explains their composition and meaning, and the nature of Botticelli’s genius. Then, continue to see masterpieces such as da Vinci’s breathtaking Annunciation, Michelangelo’s Doni Tondo and works by Rafael.

Anjelo’s enthusiasm was an inspiration, his knowledge, limitless. With a fantastic aspect on the concept of museums, the real important info was not about paint strokes, but why they were painted. Existentially a fantastic 90 minutes. Thanks

Good experience overall, but a difficult to find the tour guide for the company I booked with. Overall would recommend if you can’t get your own tickets directly from the museum.
