Our guide Jessie was informative , knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the tour very much and learned a lot. We recommend the tour and our tour guide.

We were late. Our fault for sure. Got a little lost, thought the tour was 30 minutes later than it was. I apologized numerous times. They contacted our tour guide, Jesse, who left the tour to retrieve us. I apologized again and she told me 4 times then that normally she would cancel us, and to prove to her that the tour started 30 minutes later, I just apologized again and asked what we should do, Jesse said if we can catch up them we can finish the tour. We thanked, hurried to catch the group that was all in French. We had signed up for English, I do speak French so I was able to hear the rude French ladies talking about how rude we are to have got lost! God forbid we made a mistake! Jesse continued another three times to tell us that normally she would have canceled us. Finally I had had enough. I told her we understood her the first four times she had told us but we are hear now and would like to finish the tour. Jesse did not want this neither did the rude French ladies so finally my husband said fine we will go on our own and we left. Such a horrible experience for such a beautiful place. I was so looking forward to taking my children to see it. Thankfully I have been before and was able to guide us ourselves. I have always enjoyed our tours before I think if we had stayed away from Jesse it would have been a whole different experience.

We are experienced and well traveled and in fact have lived as expats in Europe so we feel we are very objective. We booked our tour online and received confirmation along with the cancellation fee policy if within 24 hours you cancel NO REFUND as well as a “warning” that you must be 15 min early. Our tour was to begin at 10am. After driving from Paris to ensure we’d be on time, we stood at the meeting point and only one other couple was there. No tour guide to be seen. At 10:01, we received a phone call saying so sorry but the tour guide had to go to hospital so they need to cancel. Those are the facts. We understand things happen…just seemed very odd that we were told to be there 9:45 and yet didn’t get a call to cancel til 1 minute after tour was supposed to start. We were told we’d get a refund. The only ones who lost out was us the tourists and the operator was not even willing to give us entrance tickets gratis for our troubles. To be quite frank it seemed obvious to us, that there were not enough ppl signed up for the tour so they waited to last minute to cancel. We bought our own tickets and toured on our own. It’s a lovely area for sure but our experience with this operator was miserable. The tour operator told us on the phone they would send an email with refund confirmation. We received nothing from them of the sort. We had to contact Viator directly to ensure credit for their cancellation.

The gardens were very beautiful. Guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Best to go on a weekday to avoid large groups.

The guide was perfect, we paid for a English tuor, but our friends did not speak english and the other couple only french, so the guide start speaking french and spanish (she was not confortable with portuguese, although she knows how to speak) and we could understand everything. The garden is perfect, but is a crowded tuor

Jessie (the guide) showed up punctually at the location indicated on the voucher. The tour was wonderful and she started with giving us a background of the little town with a quick walk before we entered the gardens through a special entrance for groups/guides. Jessie was Knowledgeable and had a great personality. Really friendly and open to questions. I would recommend this tour and especially Jessie.

Unforgettable trip to Giverny! Thanks to our fantastic guide (a young lady from Mexico) who told us very interesting stories about Claude Monet and his life, the experience and beautiful views shall stay with us for ever❤

We were with a small group, which was very nice. Our guide was excellent. The weather was fantastic.

Monet’s home and garden was a short and sweet tour, but very special in the authenticity of detail. If coming from Paris, I would pay to travel with a group vs. public transportation. Also confirm trip details with the company because I called with questions the night before/day of and nobody answered the phone.
