Key West Florida Reef Half-Day Snorkeling Excursion

Thought I was going to die but laughed about it later everything was great!! Crew was amazing.. I will blow up my life jacket next time!!

This was an extremely awesome experience! The crew was awesome, the catamaran was clean and really nice. The weather didn’t want to cooperate at first but the team helped us feel comfortable navigating it all and still getting a chance to see a great plethora of fish, coral, and even jellies! Wish we had more time to do it again!!!

We had a brisk and overcast day, but relatively calm seas. Our small group totaling only 14 were well socially distanced. The crew were attentive, informative, and professional. The trip back was relaxing and drinks were plentiful!

The crew, the boat, everything was great. We got everything we expected - snorkelling equipment, instructions on a boat how to use everything, all the information, great atmosphere - but the weather :( But we were very impressed - the crew did not give up on us!!! They really try to get us to the reef so we can get snorkelling. Unfortunately the wind and the waves were to strong and they did not risk our lives. Our kids were disappointed but for me - It was quite impressive!!!! No complains at all. On our way back to the Key West we could experience strong wind, some bumps and even a rainstorm. We just promised the kids to come back on a snorkelling excursion at the summer time. 100% we will choose Sebago and Marquesa!!! One more thing worth to mention - because snorkelling did not happen - I had a phone call while still on a boat - the company gave us a full refund!!!

Lovely day on the water. I was anticipating no beer or wine on the ride out, it was in the description I read online. Some of the other passengers were miffed - there are drinks once the crew heads back in. The beers were very refreshing on the way back! Our day on the water was a bit chilly, windy, and very choppy. Not a great day for visibility, not a great day for inexperienced swimmers. The crew made it very clear that if you weren't a strong swimmer, it was not recommended to get in the water. And yet, many first time swimmers jumped right in, and had to be rescued by crew. It was quite an operation and our crew of 3 was firm, warm, clear, direct, and efficient. Hubby and I were happiest right under the boat, holding the ropes and looking below us at a school of fish that look like the ones pictured in the thumbnail. Even in off season, it was fascinating to see the ocean at work. It wasn't an ideal day for snorkeling, and yet, my husband and I had a great time, made new friends, and saw North America's only living coral reef. More than worth the money.

Everything was just okay. But if you’re following any covid precautions this is not your trip. The crew does not wear masks once they are out of the harbor, and in the harbor not the correct way. Also, we had to be in very close proximity to other participants most of the time.

The crew was fantastic and did a great job. My family and i had a great time and never felt unsafe. Steve, Jake and Anders were knowledgeable and humorous during our interactions

Our snorkling trip was highlighted by sightings of a shark and a turtle. The ride to and from the reef was pleasant and the crew on the boat were amazing. Wonderful customer service with a focus on safety, safety, safety. Everything was sanitized and the boat was super clean. We had about an hour on the reef which was enough- it was a bit chilly on the day of our trip- Everyone saw tons of great fish and marine life. My only recommendation... it would be nice to have a chart on the boat to use to id the marine flora and fauna.

Nice hour ride out to third largest reef- a little choppy the day we went, but saw tons of fish. The guides (Brandon) were very knowledgeable, informative, and funny. We snorkeled for just over an hour and the water temperature was perfect. Enjoyed the entire experience.
