Morning Maverick Horseback Ride with Breakfast from Las Vegas

Thank you for the review and choosing Wild West Horseback Adventures. Please advise what a fair price is for what we offer? We have been in business for over 10 years and in that period have not increased our price one time. It was a fair price 10 years ago, and since then labor, utilities, fuel, food (for guests and horses), vehicles costs, equine equipment and everything else has gone up, but our price to our guests has not. I would love to know what you consider a fair price to pickup a guest on the Las Vegas Strip drive them 45 minutes each way, put them on a horseback ride for 1.5 hours, and then give them an amazing breakfast. Please enlighten me on what you think a fair price is, because I know what the cost is per rider, it is expensive to complete the afore mentioned task, and offer the level of safety and customer service that we extend to every guest. In response to your comment about not what was promised. The only thing that you can possibly be referring to is that we state 5 hours from hotel pickup to hotel drop off, and your claim is that it was more like 4. You are right. In an average year and on an average ride the ride time from hotel pickup to drop off is approximately 5 hours. I would be hard pressed to find anyone on the planet that would say 2020 was an average year. In response to COIVD 19 the president shutdown international travel. The governor of Nevada shutdown all non-essential business from the middle of March until the beginning of June. With that said, it completely shuttered our small company. I am thankful that we are still able to keep our doors open and people out on the trail. There are so many companies that haven't been able to survive this pandemic. Due to this pandemic the number of our riders has been decreased by 50 to 75%. That means a ride that is usually sold out with 12 rides, now only has 4. That also means, instead of having to pickup at 6 hotels, we now only have to pickup at 2 or 3 hotels. That in turn will cause less drive time for the guests. In your particular situation we only had 6 riders on the day you rode, so that would remove approximately 30 minutes in hotel pickups and 30 minutes in hotel dropofs. That would be approximately one hour. If we add 1 hour to your more like 4 hour approximation that makes 5 hours. That would give you back your extra hour and we have fulfilled our promise of a 5 hour pickup to drop off. I do apologize for the inconvenience the lack of riders may have caused you. Rest assured this inconvenience has caused me and my gang many sleepless nights over the last 10 months. As I stated earlier we have been in business for over 10 years, and to think that it can all be lost is so much more than inconvenient. I hope that helps to alleviate any concerns about our service not meeting your expectations. Most of our guests are aware that a global pandemic has taken place and has shuttered small businesses across the planet. I am certain that the small businesses still open are doing everything in their power to keep their customer base happy, and to keep their dream alive. Please be patient and try to extend some compassion and understanding, some items that may have an affect on your local small business are completely out of our control. I would also like to note that although we are operating at a reduction of 50 to 75 percent normal capacity we will still keep our prices at the current retail rate. Which I believe to be an extremely fair price for our product. Once again, thank you for choosing Wild West Horseback Adventures, and I sincerely appreciate your review. However, I do find it inappropriate and mildly offensive considering the circumstances, but opinions are like smiles, everyone has one, thanks for sharing yours. Happy Trails, Jason
