I enjoyed this day trip so much! We had a small group - there were three friends and myself in the tour in January. The guide was great - he was informative and flexible with us. We started at the cave; it was very cool because you get to ride in on a train which is unique. The cave itself is massive and unlike any I've seen before. We had time for a caffeine break before and after the cave which was nice. Then we went to Predjama Castle which surprised me how much I liked it. It is very interesting to see from the outside, but to walk through was awesome. However, one note- there are TONS of stairs. I'm relatively in shape and I was sore for the next day or so! But overall, a very cool place to visit. You get to listen to an audio guide and can take your time, which was good because some of the steep stairs made me slow. Then, we ventured to Piran- the place I was most looking forward to. When we arrived, we went to a lookout (up more stairs) and saw a good view of the small town. We had a little over 2 hours to do our own thing while our guide left us. My group decided to get an early dinner (there is no lunch stop). We went to a restaurants right at the coast and had some delicious seafood and wine. I would have liked a little more time to explore the town itself because you could probably only pick one thing between exploring and sitting down for late lunch/dinner. Overall, had a fabulous day and recommend it!

What an amazing tour! We got to see 3 lovely attractions in a day - from pretty Piran to the lovely Predjama castle and the oh so amazing Postojna caves! And we had ample time everywhere. We were just 4 of us and we had a great time! Our tour guide was wonderful! (Sorry - am forgetting his name! - Request if the company can check and highlight this please!) I also met a lovely girl from Finland on this tour - we were staying the same hotel! All in all the tour was wonderful!

Tour was fantastic and all pick up plans etc went to schedule. Guide was friendly, informative and perfect for the role. Certainly a great day out. Would recommend to every one with the proviso that access to these sights requires good standard of fitness and mobility. Plenty of walking and lots of uneven stairs.

Overall tour was fantastic despite rain. Caves were tremendous and castle certainly unique. Sun came out in Piran which was a delight. Tour was well organised with ample time at each attraction. Tour guide was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
