Amazing tour. I'm from Dublin and my girlfriend London and we both loved the your. First hand experience from John. Impartial and based around bloody Sunday and what followed. Perfect length at just over 1 hour and not lots of walking. Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour with John, very passionate and informative. Highly recommend this tour. Did not walk far as unknown to us the events of Bloody Sunday happened in a very small area of Bogside. Sad to hear that John lost his brother during Bloody Sunday, long may there be peace there.

This tour was an excellent, informative and poignant experience from start to finish. Booking was easy as we booked via online and the tour was an hour long.
Our tour guide John was friendly and professional and he grew up in this area during the events and has lived here his entire life.
He had a first hand experience of these events and provided a history prior to Bloody Sunday,a minute by minute account of what transpired on the day itself and the resulting fallout.
John takes you to the locations of the shootings and offers an in depth look at the famous murals/monuments and what they represent to the local area.
I have been on many walking tours of historical locations and events but none were as impactful as this one.
The civil rights movement/the troubles and the peace process are all covered in this tour and it is important that they are remembered.
I cannot recommend the tour highly enough and the tour guide John.

Excellent walking tour!
John was brilliant, engaging, so knowledgeable and very easy going. Myself and my friend were struck by his personal experiences growing up in the Bogside during the troubles.
It is important for people to know his story, of his late brother and the others who died on Bloody Sunday and their ongoing fight for justice.
A Primary source of history and a first hand account, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you!

This was one of the best walking tours, I have ever been on. If you want a walking tour with a personal touch, a great tour guide who tells it from the heart, who knows the area very well and tells you more stories than just a basic history and is willing to answer questions and give you extra time in great conversation- this tour is for you. The area is beautiful and the guided tour is well run and very easy to find as they literally find you.
I did my tour on a miserable wet day and I didnt care about the rain as this tour and the guide was so riveting and engrossing with his stories of the Troubles, The Bogside and Bloody Sunday. Worth every Penny... One not to miss.

Can’t recommend John’s tour enough. His own personal connections to the history of the area made our experience all the more engaging. He’s a great conversationalist and his knowledge on the subject matter is undisputed. It’s important that any visitor to Derry knows his story and that of his late brother and the others who died on Bloody Sunday. Outstanding.
