Follow Route 1 (Blue Route) to view the Belle Epoque buildings of historical Madrid. Disembark to explore the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, and the Prado Museum, or admire the Gran Vía, Madrid’s main thoroughfare.

Switch to Route 2 (Green Route) to focus on 19th- and 20th-century Madrid. Travel past skyscrapers and the legendary Bernabéu stadium—home to Real Madrid FC—along the Paseo de la Castellana. Perhaps stroll through the elegant bourgeois enclave of Salamanca, or visit the city’s many museums with a focus on archaeology, sculpture, natural science and more.

Not the best ‘official’ hop on hop off / maybe turn other company

Been on many hop on hop off bus tours across the world - this was ok historical tour was very good / modem tour I would skip (nothing really to learn or experience about Madrid - but everyone has their own preferences) - I also found the tour maps incorrect (buses did not stop where there suggested the stop - especially at plaza Neptuno) or stop 14 modem tour which was closed off. Stopping at venues we’re happy hazard and it seemed like off season there was little care - Staff not that sympathetic that head phones did not default to the correct language setting - and were stand offish that they stopped at different stops or have audio issues. Buses were ok but watch out for branches.

Communication issues

I understand that a lot of issues are being caused by road works in City centre and beyond control for company however it would benefit customers to notify what stops are currently unavailable we waited at Puerto del sol as did other tourists nothing to indicate that this stop is not operating same with some other stops previously on the route a map showing how to access palace from temple x foot would also be advantageous very poor customer service

Refund not considered

We had a challenge just before we rode on the tour because my friend's mobile phone got snatched at Gran Via. We went to the police station to make a report (twice). We were not enjoying the tour as we were upset. We cut short the tour & I eventually asked for a refund, if they could consider our bad experience. I know it was not their fault that caused the 'snatched' but the provider didn't even consider my plea for a refund even we didn't even ask for a full one. Its OK.

Excellent bus

We were able to use only one of our two days, but it was excellent. We were able to see the city in a nutshell and in a short period of time. Due to the Coronavirus, we were not able to continue our trip, therefore we could not use the second day but they refunded 50 % of our ticket. Thank you.

Very clean and reliable! Tons of stops and helpful staff. Buses ran on time and always had bus arrive within 15 minutes of arriving at a stop.

Pretty good overview of the city for cheap!

Having taken other HoHo's in other cities this was by far the most difficult to find stops for. Would highly recommend googling their site to find out where they stop. Once found, boarding was easy. They conveniently take the Viator ticket right on the bus vs others who force you to go to an office and redeem a physical ticket. The staff were nice and the actual ride was pleasant and takes you around a good amount of the city.

Great to know the city, I recommend in taking the extended routes! February is a very cold month, so think twice if you want to use the second floor.
