When your cruise ship docks in Marseille, meet your guide at the cruise terminal. Then, transfer to the Marseille port and hop onto your electric bicycle to begin your cycling tour.

Spin through the city streets and take in top attractions including the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, the old port, and the Palais du Pharo—built in 1858 by Napoleon III. Explore the Vallon des Auffes—a traditional port outside the city—and listen as your guide sheds light on Marseille’s rich history.

Cycle along the Corniche Kennedy—widely considered among the most beautiful roads in Marseille—and stop along the way for panoramic coastal views. With your electric bike to help with the hills, you need much less peddle power to get around.

Visit the Notre Dame de la Garde basilica and gaze out over the rooftops of Marseille from your vantage point on the high hillside. Then, delve into diverse neighborhoods including the historic Panier district and the newer Joliette district—once an industrial hub.

When your cycling tour comes to an end, drop your bike off and return to the cruise terminal to conclude your ride.

  • You will be met at the cruise terminal by a driver holding a sign "E-Bike Tours". Please don't walk, just wait near your ship. Exact meeting time will be sent to you 5-3 days before the tour.
  • You must know how to ride a bicycle as you need to pedal all the time (easily).
  • Riders must be more than 4,9ft (1m45) and less than 240lbs (120kg)
  • Children must be more than 12 years old to ride their own bicycle
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • If children 10 years or younger are tall enough (4,9ft), they can ride a bicycle after their height is checked
  • Participants must not be afraid of riding on busy streets in close proximity with lots of cars

Despite a little confusion as to the pick up point at the cruise dock, we managed to meet our guide for the day, Valentino. After getting to our starting point, having a safety review and a quick lesson in operating the bikes we were off. Valentino took us to some amazing locations where he gave us local histories and time to view the surroundings and take photos. One stop was at Vallon des Auffes, a great little fishing port. We stopped for lunch at a very nice seaside café prior to the climb to the Notre Dame de la Garde basilica where we watched military helicopters do training over the port. Valentino is a fantastic guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Marseille, Very friendly, patient, kind, with some great stories. Thank you Valentino for a great day.

Don't be afraid, just do it! Super nice family owned company with great guides. This was our first electric bike use and tour ever and it was awesome! We were on a cruise ship, I booked it thru Viator and they met us at our port and brought us to the bikes, gave us instructions, helmets and our small group of 8 followed our guide all over it was awesome!

Our guide, Ezekiel, was fantastic. The intro to riding an e-bike was quick, and we headed off on a citywide 15 mile bike ride. Wow- the bikes were great for the hills, we saw wonderful beautiful sites, and had a great tour. Ezekiel was a fantastic guide. I recommend this tour for everyone who wants a different touring experience. Thanks Ezekiel !!!

Being on these electric bikes enabled us to see a large portion of the city in a small amount of time. The bikes were easy to ride and the guide was both informative and fun. With only one day to see the city I can't imagine a better way to do it.

A fun way to explore this beautiful city

We were able to cover so much ground and see so much, including tucked away beaches and all the major sights. Our guide, Ian, did a good job keeping us all together and telling us history and background of the sights. Operating the bikes was simple and fun for all including our kids, 11 and 13. Getting started on a couple of the steep hills was a little challenging for our daughter but Ian was patient and helpful.

Lucy was an excellent tour guide. She was energetic, sweet, and extreamly knowledgeable on the culture and history of Marseille. The bike tour was a little scary at first since you have to be careful with traffic, but it was definitely worth it since it’s was an amazing experience.
