To access the Melbourne Skydeck, hang on as the fastest elevator trip in the Southern Hemisphere whisks you up 88 floors in less than 40 seconds. Once you enter the Skydeck, take in breathtaking, 360-degree views of Melbourne through floor-to-ceiling windows. Spot your favorite Melbourne attractions through one of many free viewfinders.

Step outside onto the open-air terrace, where you can feel the rush of wind and make use of high-powered binoculars. From a height of nearly 975 feet (300 meters), you can see the blue expanse of Port Phillip Bay and, on a clear day, as far as the Dandenong Ranges.

For the ultimate Melbourne Skydeck experience, upgrade your ticket to include ‘The Edge.’ Step inside a secure glass cube that slowly projects 10 feet (3 meters) straight out from the side of the building, and feel the thrilling sensation of being suspended in the air.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary in Melbourne Skydeck. We are glad to see all the amazing views from above and glad to experience it. We are so glad that we went there. Highly recommended.

This is our second visit to Eureka towers, the last time beinf 3-4 years ago and boy oh boy have they upped their game !! The 6D cinema experience - Voyager was amazing and a must have experience! The Plank was fun too and enjoyed by all ! Edge may appear simple but is no little feat to have a part of the building move/extend outside at 1000ft. Remarkable experience all in all !

Check out the Voyager Theatre for fun ideas of what to see and do while visiting Melbourne.

Great fun! We enjoyed the Voyager Theatre, especially as we had just finished walking along the Yarra River and had coffee in the Melbourne laneways, and therefore much of what we saw in the VR experience were iconic places we had visited earlier in the day! It also gave us ideas of other places we'd want to visit during our holiday, such as Melbourne's Chinatown and Luna Park.

We went for the ultimate experience. This included the voyager theatre, the sky deck, edge and plank VR experience. I would highly recommend the voyager theatre as well as the edge. The VR plank would be more enjoyable for kids as opposed to adults. Overall it was a good experience.

Disappointing

Too crowded, people were sitting on the floor against the glass, spent more time trying to navigate the corridor then actually taking in the view, would not recommend this to anyone

We paid for The Edge as well as the sky deck but when we showed the voucher at the desk we were only given the sky deck ticket which we didn’t realise at the time and therefore we received no instructions on how to get on The Edge. One of the staff had to sort this out and this also happened to someone else. Their incompetence spoiled the tour for us.

Well Worth It!

This was definitely worth the expense. I wasn't so certain when we purchased the tour, but the views were quite stunning. We went about 30 minutes before sundown and had time to view the City by day, catch the sunset and stay to view the City at night. We didn't purchase the glass cube thing, and we're really glad we didn't. The floor did not look like you could see through it and it only gained you about 15 feet of extra viewing space for 5 minutes.

The experience was amazing. The views were just incredible. We paid the extra and went on the edge experience, that was a frightening 5 minutes for me but the other 3 loved it. Highly recommended.

The views were amazing but the edge was a waste of money. Wish I didn't do it now. The girl said it will move but I don't think it moved anywhere

The Edge is overrated - you are not allowed to carry your camera and the pics they click for you with their cameras are not clear. The Skydeck is good but we found the Sydney Eye Tower to be better than this.

I really enjoyed going up to the 88th floor in Eureka and looking out on Melbourne! I know a lot of cities have these high floor observation decks. But Eureka was cool and gave you a nice viewing of the city from high above. I really enjoyed hanging out here for an hour or so!

It a must to visit Eureka Skydeck 88! The best time to visit is before sunset and stay till nighttime when all the city lights were lighted up. You will experience 2 different view of the landscape at the Skydeck 88.
