Returns to original departure point
This walking food tour begins in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. After a meet and greet with the guide, it’s time for a flavorful and fun adventure.

Visit family-owned and operated Cuban restaurants to sample the fresh flavors of the local cuisine. The Calle Ocho area of Little Havana provides an overview of the neighborhood’s traditional flavors—favorites like homemade mamey and flan ice cream, chicken- and picadillo-stuffed plantain cups, guava pastelito, plus coffee, guarapo juice and much more. Many of the Cuban dishes are prepared from family recipes that have been handed down from one generation to another. All tastings are included and sum up to a large, full lunch.

This tour includes more than just food, however. Meet some of the Cuban artists in their studios, listen to some traditional Cuban music and watch skilled Cuban cigar rollers at Havana Classic Cigar. Also, visit Maximo Gomez Domino Park, a landmark on Calle Ocho.

The tour concludes back at the original departure point.

Highlight of my trip to Miami
Kim_B
, Jan 2021
We had a short trip to Miami and I knew we wanted to visit Little Havana. My sister found this tour online and I highly recommend it. We were able to be outside for most of the tour which gives many peace of mind with Covid. Jennifer (tour guide) took us down Calle Ocho sharing history of Little Havana we sampled some of delicious Cuban food and drinks. The Cuban Sandwich and Mojito were my favorites. I live in Atlanta and will be seeking out Cuban restaurants nearby. Add this tour to your trip next time you are in Miami.

A Day in the life of Little Havana
JeanA_K
, Dec 2020
Our guide Carly is warm and outgoing and told personal stories about the Cuban experience and their life in Miami. She knew many details about Cuban food, ingredients, how it’s prepared and eaten. The best part of the tour was her selection of food and the places she took us. We started at a bakery window for Cuban coffee, followed by a small grocery for empanadas and a bar garden for mojitos. We stopped by a fruit shop for a pressed sugarcane drink and a bakery for a pork and lettuce sandwich. Carly took us to a cigar factory and explained the process. We finished the tour at the ice cream shop. We lived the tour and got a slice of Cuban life.

Gina is a gem and my personal hero! Bringing the family on this “must do” on moms list meant dragging a VERY picky and reluctant (terrified) 11yo eater along. She IMMEDIATELY addressed the issue - intuitively! All of us had a great time, ate delicious food, and gobbled down culture ... we all left “fat and happy” Gina knows what she’s doing! What was my 11yo favorite activity in Miami? .... Ginas tour to all of our surprise!!!!! Thank you
