Bertrand was very nice and he shared his knowledge about the area. It’s a beautiful place to visit with very good wines. The dinner was delicious and good company.

Bertrand is an excellent guide, so passionate about what he does that spending some time listening to his insightful explanations can be more entertaining than the wineries we visit in the tour themselves. The morning visits to the wineries finished at the guesthouse of his mother, and this personal touch added even more to the overall experience. She cooked a really delicious 3-course meal, and the table set under the tree outdoors gave that special "grandmother Sunday dinner table" vibe. I strongly recommend this tour!

A great tour lead by a local. Bertrand knows everything about the area and knows all the best wineries and the wine makers. And his mom is an amazing cook. This tour feels like you are being shown around by family friends. A great experience.

I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful this entire experience was! Berteau was phenomenal and so personable and fun to be around. I learned so much about wine in France and his mother’s cooking is better than most restaurant cuisine. If you are in Montpellier this is a must do! The vineyard views are breathtaking.

I have to say that this tour was the highlight of our visit to France. I had difficulty at first in coordinating the date and pick-up, but in the end, we worked out the details and we loved the day. Bertrand, our host, was able to pick us up at our hotel even though it was outside of Montpellier. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about vineyards, wine making and local history. The first winery was very old and the second was a newly renovated one but it in a long line of family ownership. It was nice to see the contrast and the wines we tasted were lovely. We then had a lovely 3-course delicious lunch prepared by Bertrand's mother who was charming. It really was a special opportunity to visit in a lovely setting and another opportunity for more wine and camaraderie with the others in the tour - 2 couples from the UK and one from New Zealand we are from the US. The final highlight was a short walk through a quaint medieval town - Les Matelles - where we experienced what few are likely to have gotten on other tours. I would give 6 stars if I could!

We would give this tour 6-stars if it were available. Bernard, our host, was about as gregarious as it gets, and, in a most entertaining way. We visited two wineries and enjoyed their excellent wines and the history of wine making in the Pic St Loup region. The owner of the second winery came in from tending his vines while we were there and gave us some history of his families 4th generation, IIRC wine making. While everything was great, the highlight of the tour was a late lunch at Bernard's mother's table d'hote. A terrific meal prepared in-house in a lovely setting. The perfect weather was a real bonus. We were also most fortunate in our traveling companions, Clarissa, Xavier and Florian. We could not have ask for better 2-Brits and a German traveling/lunch mates. After dinner Bernard gave us a 30-45min walking tour of a lovely 12th century village. Just the thing to keep us awake after a day of wine tasting and delicious lunch. Cannot recommend this tour more highly.

A perfect guide Bertrand on a perfect trip with perfect wines and lovely lunch

We had a great day with our guide and two other couples to two wineries in the countryside. Having been to a few wine tours, we still picked up some interesting new information from our guide and tried some terrific wines. Our guide was exceptional, working hard to provide information in two languages equally. He also provided a full/multi-course lunch following. We would recommend for those interested in wine or simply seeing wineries and beautiful countryside!
