Great Time!

This tour far exceeded our expectations. Our driver, Frank, was so entertaining. We could have easily driven to Lynchburg ourselves, but it was really nice to take the coach there. The tour guide was excellent and well-educated on every aspect of the company. I highly recommend this tour!

This was a great experience! We were looking for something outside of Nashville and this was a perfect trip. The bus driver was funny and on time. It was lovely to see the countryside outside of Nashville and the small town of Lynchburg was adorable and quaint. Amazing bbq and cute shops! The Jack Daniel’s tour was impressive and fun. Our tour guide was Jon. T and he was hilarious and very knowledgeable about the history of the Jack Daniel’s site. The tasting was great and the trip was a really nice way to spend the day.

Our trip was great! Our bus guide was really nice and informative. The trip to the distillery was smooth and comfortable. The distillery was wonderful. So much history. Our guide there was also very informative and very nice. The tasting was excellent. Just a little tip. Wear comfortable shoes. You do walk up hill a few times. So worth it.

The Distillery Tour was very informative.

1. The tour of the distillery was great and informative. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. 2. There were over 30 of us on the bus so we were divided into 2 tour groups. As we were in group 2, we did not receive any info on the shuttles that serve the town, the parking lot and the distillery. If you schedule this tour make sure that someone gives this info to you! 3. The info about this tour states that you can BYOB to put in their iced cooler for trip. It is under the bus, and is not accessible during the trip. 4. There is a small bathroom on the bus-----without toilet paper, and it does not flush. 5. There is too little time for the free time in town, and there is way too little time after the tour to make any purchases. There might have been more time if we had left Nashville on time.

Lynn, I'm sorry to hear our Trip Advisor 2020 Travelers' Choice Award winning tour was not worthy of a five star review from you. While we strive to always provide the best experience possible for our guest some things are out of our control, due diligence isn't sought, or expectations are just unrealistic. Everyone on our tours hear and experience the same things so I'm not sure to what you're referring regarding shuttles. In the past, there have been shuttles that drove across the street to the parking lot, but that was curtailed due to COVID. Perhaps they brought them back that weekend. Did you ask your guide or another employee about them? By the way, you can walk to Lynchburg or the parking lot in less than 5 minutes-most times it is much faster than riding a shuttle as they wait for more people to board. You can BYOB. How many beers do you need for an hour and a half bus ride? Two maybe? Have one in your hand and then bring a back up. They'll still be some in the cooler for the ride home. Also, experience tells us that an unmetered supply of beer isn't always a good idea for some folks. We appreciate a good drink as much as anyone, but we're not a party bus. Our bus has a bathroom? Was this advertised somewhere? In fact, it says on our website that our buses DO NOT have bathrooms. We have multiple vehicles ranging from six passenger to 56 passengers. While our luxury Volvo 9700 does have a toilet-we keep it closed for a very important sanitary reason-COVID. This is for your protection and our protection. Plus, it is infective to tell our guests that some of our vehicles have toilets and others don't. How would those expectations be perceived when someone expects to have a toilet, but our bus that day does not have one? Someone removed the tape from duct taped door and unlocked the bathroom. Someone on that tour that day. Additionally, it only takes one time to fish out bottle caps or beer cans from a toilet to realize that a bathroom is not a good idea. See above comment about supply of alcohol. Everyone has the same amount of time there. Why didn't you make your purchase ahead of time? As we mentioned before your tour, you don't need to visit every shop there as many sell the same or similar items. You had plenty of time to tour, pop into some shops, and grab lunch. Lynchburg is smaller than a Nashville city block. You didn't leave Nashville on time? How do you know what time we're supposed to leave? Did the first tour group make their tour on time? They did and we left when we were supposed to. We generally don't leave Nashville until 20 after. Remember the 15 minutes the tour guide was talking to yall before the tour? That is by design. We've been doing this nearly every day for six years. We've got it down. We know what works and what doesn't. When know when we need to leave. We've got dedicated tour times. We know how much free time is generally acceptable. Cheers, Chip

Rye Whiskey, Rye Whiskey

The tour was a great time. We took the Angel tour and would suggest that to anyone. Not only did we learn so much about JD but we also got to try some samples that we would probably never try elsewhere. Also, I learned that I like Rye JD! Never thought I would like it. Make sure to take the tour and have a great time!
