Absolutely the best tour experience ever! David Higgins is a gem! His knowledge or history, spirituality, music, and the overall human experience is unparalleled. The tour with him was the highlight of our time in NOLA. David is the absolute best!

Our tour guide was incredibly entertaining and knowledgeable! Even though the cemeteries were closed, we learned so much, and it was still worth it to get to see everything else.

Our tour guide was very nice as he guided us to cemeteries 1 and 2. Although we weren't allowed inside, he still provided lots of cool facts about places and people. He took us by the church as well as Louis Armstrong Park, both of which were beautiful. Our final stop was where Marie Laveaus house used to be. Even when the tour was finished, he was still very helpful to tell us where we needed to go since we weren't familiar with the area.

Viator does NOT provide good customer service!

The main complaint I have is VIATOR! They did not inform me that the Cemeteries in NOLA are all CLOSED due to COVID-19. They did not give Historic Tours and/or Rob MY information so they could contact me regarding this. I finally called Rob and he was very gracious, offering me a solo tour next day with a very good tour guide, David Higgins. Kudos to Historic Tours and thumbs down for Viator!

Worth your time, but don't book it through Viator. Go directly to Historic New Orleans Tours.

My guide, David Higgins was delightful and very polite. I was the only person taking the tour because, lo and behold, Viator forgot to tell me that the cemeteries in NOLA are closed due to COVID. The tour operator, Robert, answered my call when I went to the meeting point and I saw no one. He was very gracious and told me that Viator did not provide him with my phone or my email. Finally, he organized it for me to take the tour today (11/27). It was a great experience. Thank you, Rob and David.

Tour was very interesting but did not realize we would have to walk a good distance to get there. I think it would be better to meet at the front of the cemetery to start the tour.

Interesting tour through the St. Louis cemetery. Our guide Diane was very knowledgeable regarding burial practices and voodoo as practiced in New Orleans. There is not much shade in the cemetery so I suggest the morning tour before the sun is blazing in the afternoon. During this tour we also had a chance to walk through Louis Armstrong park. The tour ended at Marie Laveau's house.

Ina was a very good tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and personable. I particularly liked that the tour was historical and not theatrical. She made sure that the group was not standing around in the sun on this hot day when she was able. My only criticism is of the booking agency Viator. We booked and paid for out tickets online and she spent 10 minutes attempting to verify this while everyone stood around and waited. Even though I had all the information on my phone she couldn't verify it on her end. Overall I would say it was a good experience.
