Provence Wine Small Group Day Tour from Nice with Tastings & Lunch

I would recommend this tour to anyone (beginner to advanced) who wants to learn about Provence wine! We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip with Cedric and every winery we visited was distinctive but high quality. Cedric was knowledgable, funny, kind and thoughtful. Thank you, Cedric!!

This was the highlight of our two week trip to France. Cedric was a great host - funny, knowledgeable, and helped us relax and have fun. The tours of the wineries taught us a lot and gave us a better understanding of the region. The tastings were fun and we really enjoyed the wine. It was a nice mix of white, rose, and red. A very enjoyable and relaxing lunch was included which allowed us to get to know the other people on the tour. I'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting the region!

We were able to visit three different wineries producing various wines of Provence. Each of the wineries were excellent and we were also able to have a nice lunch at one of the locations along with three bottles of wine we had previously tasted. What I enjoyed the most was the personality and exceptional knowledge of our tour guide Cedric. He had a deep knowledge of the wine industry and did a wonderful job explaining the wines to both experienced wine drinkers as well as novices in a fun and interesting way.

What a great experience. I learned so much about the different grapes and combinations that make up the wines from this region. Very personalized and intimate. Comfortable small group made it very intimate. Made new friends as we all shared a lot of tastings and a fantastic lunch. The guide really knew his stuff and the tour is worth every penny.

We so enjoyed our full-day trip to Provence Wine Tasting! Our guide was so friendly and knowledgable about the wines and history of the area. The three wineries visited were all unique and enjoyable. We were able to taste whites and reds in addition to the great Rose produced. Our three course lunch was delicious and so much fun with our diverse group. Thank you for making this trip one of the highlights of our vacation!

This was definitely the best part of my trip to the riviera. I love rose and know that the best roses come from Provence so being able to take in a tour of the wineries that produce rose (and whites and reds) was a must do and I would tell everyone a must do if you’re traveling to this area. These wineries are not open to the public without reservations ahead of time so going on this tour is the way to go for ease. We went to three gorgeous wineries each with a story all their own. Cedric our tour guide was not only extremely knowledgeable but such a friendly and warm person. He was the best!! The guides at the wineries were welcoming and friendly. The wines unfortunately were so good that now back home...the ones I thought were so good that I drink...well pale now in comparison! If you have time to add this to your trip. I highly recommend. This is our second Viator tour and both times have not disappointed!

I went on this excursion in mid-June and had a WONDERFUL experience! We went to three different vineyards around Provence and were given a lot of background on the region and all of the winemaking processes in France in general. Normally on tours that I've done before the food is a bagged lunch or something quick, but the lunch was really wonderful - multiple courses with wine, espresso and dessert. Our tour guide was wonderful and I'd recommend this to anyone on the fence. The 3 vineyards we went to had a nice variety of wines and had wonderful employees who were very helpful. We were back by roughly 4 p.m.

This tour is a fantastic way to spend the day and get to know provence wine culture! Our guide Rod was very knowledgable and we loved the outdoor lunch area he took us to. We had a great time, and highly recommend it to others visiting Nice!

We spent the most wonderful day with a very congenial group of people. The three wineries we visited each had a large variety of wines to try. Our group leader, Cedric, has worked in the field of oenology in Europe and also in Asia and was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable about the geography, weather, history and viniculture of each area we visited. Our luncheon was three absolutely fabulous courses of well-prepared and beautifully presented dishes. A wonderful experience!
