The Hearst Castle is a definite must-see during a trip to California. It is absolutely worth the effort of travelling to the area. My daughters and I especially loved the castle and learning about the history of the Hearst family and the castle.

A great experience. There's nothing like seeing the real thing and getting a vivid feel of the place. Awesome buildings and architecture. Getting to know its history makes it so much easier to understand how and why it came into existence. Also adding to our enjoyment was our guide, Ric. Friendly and fun to be with, Ric filled us in with additional interesting info and made sure we were all comfortable and well-fed throughout the tour.

Good value tour. Imax film was interesting followed by the general castle tour which satisfied our interest. Our guide Dave brought us deli sandwiches from Cambtia to enjoy after the castle tour. Drive back with a couple of nice stops was also enjoyable. Dave did a great job.
