Good tour. No need to pay the extra to go through Viator on March 6. Get a brochure to understand start time and locations if you want to start early.

GREAT way to see San Diego!

This is absolutely the way to see the highlights of San Diego, especially if you are on a short stay and/or don't want to rent a car!! We got tickets for 2 consecutive days and did the entire loop the first day. Then we decided which stops we wanted to see, and planned accordingly the next day. You will probably get a different tour guide each time you "hop on", so you get a little different perspective each time, which is great. Rodney was AWESOME!!

The only problem we experienced was not being able to print or move our ticket to our telephone. It all worked out because the staff at the different stops were very helpful.

BW was our excellent driver; full of facts and suggestions. We felt we were given an excellent feel of the main areas of the city. If you have the time, ride the trolley for the complete tour, noting where you would like to spend more time. Go back and enjoy those areas. The trolley was clean and comfortable. Much better than driving yourself and being stressed.

Although I had been to San Diego a number of times on business, it was my wife's first time. We took the Hop-on Hop-off Trolley and found it excellent. It includes narrated pass-through visits to various San Diego communities and historical sites. The drivers/conductors were professional, friendly and courteous accompanies by music. In summary, it is a great way to get acquainted with San Diego. We have used the Hop-on Hop-off Trolley in other cities and plan to do so next week in San Francisco.

An Entertaining and Interesting Ride

We rode the entire loop/route of the trolley, with a break at the old town stop which is where the trolleys begin and end. We went for lunch and a walk around the old town area before starting the ride back. Our driver, Ronald (Ronnie), who we had for the majority of our journey, was very friendly and entertaining. He made the trip interesting and fun. We also learnt quite a lot of history about the various areas which the trolley went through. It's definitely worth doing this ride early on in your visit if possible, so you can get an idea of the layout of San Diego and where you might want to take more time for further exploration.
