They company took the booking, took our money and on the day of we had no one contact us. We were left waiting for a while and we couldn't call to cancel either. It was sad because I want to give this company another chance as I believe that they would've made a great experience.

Enjoyed Muir Woods. Beautiful park, can't wait to see the giant redwoods since these were regular sized. Spent about an hour and a half there. Sausalito is a small community. The time there wasn't enough to eat so we sat and enjoyed the water and looked at the boats for 30 minutes. The weather was okay for January, eventhough it was in the upper 50's take a warmer jacket for the dampness in the woods.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed Muir Woods! While there are a few California coastal redwood groves that have slightly taller trees, the Muir Woods grove has some of the tallest trees in the world. Our stop in Sausalito is a quick stop so that folks who would like to have lunch or spend the afternoon can do so at their leisure and return via ferry. The 30 minute ferry ride is a great way to view the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Fisherman's Wharf. For those who choose to skip Sausalito, we do our best to get you back to San Francisco on time.

We spent way more time in the jitney than at either destination. We got about 1h15 at Muir and 45min in Sausalito. We had always planned on staying for dinner and taking the ferry back from Sausalito anyway, but if we hadn't it was so crowded you couldn't do much but go get an ice cream and get back on the jitney. Drive is hellacious so it was worth it just for that. If you are prone to motion sickness get a front seat. You CANNOT get into Muir Woods without a tour package until August right now. Parking is sparce. One of our group doesn't walk very far but the 'trails' are all wooden and level like a boardwalk so easy for everyone. Forest is magnificent.
