The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and enlightening. I learned so much more about the LGBT movement in San Francisco than I knew. This tour was very informative and blended interesting trivia with big moments in San Francisco history during the Harvey Milk era and the AIDS epidemic. Our guide touched on important topics with grace. The attendees were diverse, both in geography and age. It included two elementary-school aged kids. There was about 5 minutes where their mother took them away from the group as adult topics were being discussed, but it was a short time and the family seemed to enjoy the entire tour. The tour starts and ends right in the heart of the Castro, which made it very easy for us to find something to do after the tour concluded. My friend and I both really enjoyed this tour!
