Meet your private guide at your hotel, where you'll enjoy a day of personalized attention as you tour Singapore. Hop aboard your coach and drive first to Henderson Waves, Singapore's highest pedestrian bridge. Take in views of Telok Blangah Hill and Mount Faber before continuing west.

Travel through the theme park of Haw Par Villa next, containing over 1,000 statues and 150 giant dioramas depicting scenes from Chinese mythology, folklore, legends and history.

Then make your way to Kranji War Memorial, which overlooks the Straits of Johore and is dedicated to the 20,000 people who lost their lives during the war.

Next, head to a local restaurant for lunch before visiting Bright Hill Temple, known for its turtle pond and Chinese crematorium. Walk around the grounds with your guide to admire the temple’s detailed architecture and landscaped gardens.

Conclude your private tour with a final stop at Changi Chapel and Museum. Learn the history and touching stories behind the lives of the POWs who were held here during World War II. You’ll also hear about the significance of the chapel, which is a replica of the original from Changi Prison.

After a full day of history and sightseeing, you will conclude at your original departure point.

The guide was great, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and provided us with some great tips for getting around Singapore. However we found the tour itinerary a little uninspiring and unfortunately the lunch provided was a basic Chinese meal of a poor standard not at all what we expected. Disappointingly we were seated in a room with the large tour group who were following the same itinerary. Given this was a private tour we had anticipated a little more. We would not recommend this tour for two. Go with the group as the price differential in our view isn't justified.

Good trip to get an overview of the island. Morning stops didn't quite fill the morning, so guide added a stop at a hydroponic farm, which we really enjoyed try the lettuce juice! However, the lunch, in a room full of tourists, was only average, which considering the usually amazing food in Singapore is a crime. Warning - if you're not interested in Singapore's involvement in WWII this may not be the tour for you. The morning has a stop in a military cometary and the afternoon has a lengthy stop at Changi Chapel and Museum.
