The tour Guide was fun...

The tour Guide was fun and with a lot of knowledge. You can skip the line and enjoy scenery. Both the San mark church and dodge palace are worth visiting
Tall tales of Venice with Raphael

We absolutely enjoyed the tour with Raphael. He should be in the movies. Both the Doge and basilica. He had great perspectives we enjoyed on the historical and theological significance of Venice. Multo bene

Worth every penny!

The Doges palace should NOT be missed! It is spectacular and being able to skip the line was great. The tour guide was wonderful and helped us to understand what we were seeing.
Well done tour

The guide was excellent; very knowledgeable of Venice and the history behind it. The skip the line at the Doge's palace was valuable, but recent COVID restrictions made the skip line line impossible for St. Mark's Basilica (for all tour guides in town). Still, the wait to get into the Basilica was not long, and felt even shorter as our guide continue to provide us information during the wait. I would book again if I return to Venice.
Still deciding if it was worth it. But no regrets.

Wonderful sights to see. Worth it. But guide was repetitive and a bit militant. I’ve been to school and don’t need to be treated like a kid in school again. But not unpleasant. Still have to wait in line for St Marks so really NOT skipping the line.
condensed tour
, Oct 2020
This tour is strange under covid conditions but great efforts were made to keep people safe with windows open, one way systems etc. The guide was vary clear and covered well what was a big subject. At 90 minutes this was an ideal condensed tour for people who do not have time for the usual longer one and do not want too much detail.
Great Tour despite COVID - questions answered!
, Jul 2020
The experience was very nice - our teens ages 12 & 14 also enjoyed it. It was a good experience - our tour director was very patient with the rules instituted due to COVID. We were glad to be with a tour guide to make our way through the Doge's palace - as they kept us moving very smoothly through it all. She gave great information and answered all of our questions. The Basilica was not open in the main floor - we were only able to go directly upstairs to view the main floor from the balcony. We did not have to wait long at either site.

Hurry up and wait
, Feb 2020
We were running behind and missed the tour by 5 mins. Totally our fault. Called and was told to catch the next tour in an hour. Great! We bummed around but the next tour got started nearly 30 mins late. And we weren’t told on the phone that we would not have a guide for Doge’s Palace. We would have to come back tomorrow if we wanted to see it guided. Well, can’t do because we have a different tour booked during that time. Also, the basilica tour only lasted 45 minutes. Was it rushed due to her being late? Or is this typical? Your guess is as good as mine! Our tour guide was pleasant and had some interesting stories but didn’t strike me as exceptional- which we generally feel after a tour. This tour was meh with all that happened.

Highly Recommended for First Timers and Experienced Visiters

Had a fantastic time on our tour. The guide was very knowledgable and was able to answer any questions I had (which was impressive given my prior knowledge on a lot of the subject matter). The perks of being able to cut the lines and being lead into areas that the general public aren't allowed access to cannot be overstated - it's a game changer. The group size wasn't too big, so it didn't feel like we were too encumbered and could make our way easily. Would certainly recommend anyone with an interest in visiting these two buildings to take this tour. Also, the Glass Factory demonstration at the end was a nice surprise and a great place to find a nice souvenir. My girlfriend loved that.
