Choose from two different options with this transfer service. With meet and greet service, a representative will greet you at the cruise arrival terminal (either Venezia Marittima or San Basilio)  and escort you to the pier, where you’ll board your private motorboat. With the full-service option, a representative will stay with you from the arrival terminal all the way to the door of your hotel.

Motorboats can accommodate up to six people and six pieces of luggage. Transfer service is available 7 days a week. Please provide cruise and hotel details when making your booking. You’ll receive confirmation within 24 hours and a voucher to present to the transfer representative.

Price is per person, based on six adults per motorboat.

Please note: Guests staying at Venice’s Hotel Marriott (Isola delle Rose) will need to pay a surcharge of €20 at the time of service due to the hotel’s more distant location.
  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 2 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability
  • The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
  • Brand of vehicle used may vary depending on your specific travel date.
  • Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) will have certain restrictions. The vehicles CANNOT accommodate excess luggage. Please send an inquiry prior to travel to ask if excess luggage is acceptable. Additional fees will be charged on the day of travel for excess luggage. Baby seats are not available.
  • Transfer is wheelchair accessible but if assistance is required, passenger must provide their own carer and wheel chair assistant MUST be requested at time of booking
  • Price is per person, based on 6 adults per car/vehicle
  • Due to the Hotel Marriot location (Isola delle Rose), transfer to/from this Hotel are subjected to a surcharge of €20, payable on spot

We arranged a private taxi from the cruise terminal to our hotel and this service was excellent. A representative met us at the terminal and led us to our private water taxi. They handled the loading of the luggage. When we got to land at St.Marks area she led us right into the hotel we had booked. All was excellent.

I paid $185 for the privite taxi from the Cruise Terminal in Venice to Central Venice which include a walkig guide to take us (3 people) to our hotel and avoid lines and waiting. My document for taxi states - if delayed it should be no longer than 1 hour. We waited over two hours because no taxi's were available to take us who were pre-booked and paid an enourmous amounti. We were informed they only have 5 water taxi's and we had to wait. We were the last ones leaving that terminal - people who paid that the ticket booths all went befoe us - when we got to Venice we saw some of them sitting down eating. They only paid $70 for 4 people. One of the managers came to us trying to justify why, saying it was not their fault - I asked why do you overbook it we cannot fulfill your contract. She said the cruise ship had many people that were using the taxi's - REALLY, thats all the time - nothing new. I really would like to get a refund. Oh, I saw the guide counting our luggage I guess to try and justify their actions; however, I put in the Special Accomodation Remarks when I booked the taxi that I had excessive luggate. I was infomred it was OK. Booking the Water Taxi through Viator was A waste of Money - the manager even said she regret we wasted so much money.

Excellent Service! We had someone with us from getting off the ship until we walked in the door of our hotel. It was very nice, considering the usual spot where water taxis would drop off was closed because there was a marathon in the middle of St. Mark's Square. Much easier than trying to navigate it yourself!

After a 90 minute wait we sent off in a taxi with other travelers. We paid extra FYI be brought right to our hotel by guide which did not happen. We were just dropped off on sidewalk with a vague wave towards were our hotel was blocks away. If not for google maps we would not have found it. We will be asking for refund from Viator.

Started good met timely at San Basilio cruise port but those who went to the taxi stand got aboard a taxi first, I paid for a guide to assist from port to the hotel and paid for private taxi with assist since was never in Venice.. The guide placed 4 other persons in the water taxi and assisted them to their hotel and we were then taken by the taxi without her to our hotel which luckily was right were the water taxi dropped us off. Felt we did not get what we paid for we got a shared taxi and no guide but did get to the hotel that is why I gave it a three star.

Don't Waste your time with this Vendor

I don't normally write reviews, but this experience was so bad I felt I needed to let others know. Just finished up a 12 day cruise in Venice, and wanted a private taxi to take us directly to our Hotel in Venice which had waterway access. Had to wait an hour for the taxi and was dropped of with a 10 min walk to the Hotel with many large size bags. Yes, I was one of those families you see trying to cross the crowded bridges with large bags, a situation I was trying to avoid. Friends traveling with us got a taxi at the taxi stand and got picked up in 20 mins, and dropped off at the hotel, and only paid 80E. I had purchased 8 excursions ($3700) with Viator and had an outstanding service with all the other vendors, so may expectations I guess were to high.
