Why Travelers Choose This Tour
Saved to wishlist!
Meet at Santa Maria del Giglio Gondola Park a little before your departure time.
Start by getting into your gondola with up to five others. Once everyone is safe and secure, your gondolier takes you for a classic gondola ride across the Grand Canal. Admire Venice’s buildings, and see places, such as Santa Maria della Salute and Ponte dell'Accademia.
Afterward, make your own way over to Museo Correr at St. Mark’s Square on the opposite side of St. Mark’s Basilica (Basilica di San Marco) to meet your guide for your walking tour.
Hear about the history of the square, and skip the line at St. Mark's Basilica. Inside the Italo-Byzantine-style church, admire its golden mosaics and altarpieces.
Next up is Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale). Avoid the crowds here, too, as your guide walks you through the palace. Stroll along the Bridge of Sighs and pass the new prisons before your guide leaves you on your own to explore.
Later in the afternoon, meet up for your last tour in this package — the boat tour on Venice’s canals. Meet in front of the tourist office of Venezia Unica, under the arches of the Correr Museum in Saint Mark's square opposite Saint Mark's Basilica. Look for the "Grand Canal Boat Tour" sign.
Launch off from the Grand Canal, and discover some of the city’s most hard-to-get-to canals. Catch a glimpse of Venice's palaces and buildings, and make sure to snap pictures while listening to your guide's commentary along the journey. This boat tour lets you off in the same place you came aboard.
